100 Voices Road To Bangkok WorldPride 2030
100 Voices Road To Bangkok WorldPride 2030

“We accepted her as a woman, the leading lady of our music video.” 🌈✨
Meet Lookwa Pijika Jittaputta, Thai singer, actor, voice actor, and radio host, who first became known through the song “Mai Chai Phu Chai” (“Not a Man”), with Poy Treechada as the leading lady of its music video. The team once planned a reveal at the end, but chose to say nothing at all, because Poy was simply their leading lady.
When she was cast as a mother whose child comes out in a BL series, Lookwa read the script and felt, “This is human. This is what happens to the people around us.” She is glad to be a small part of helping people understand the community.
Lookwa believes Thailand is ready to host WorldPride 2030 because of the openness of its people: whoever you are and whatever your gender, you will be accepted here. This story is part of the 100 Voices Road To Bangkok WorldPride 2030 project.
