📔 “For the first time in my life, I’ve planned my diary 3 years ahead”: Danny, President of the Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand
In many countries, Pride was born of pain, from violence and discrimination. Thailand is no different from Stonewall in New York. In 1998, we faced discrimination related to HIV. That's why Danny has a short motto: “From HIV, to Pride, to Diversity.”
“Pride isn’t born of mere acceptance. We have to build it together.” That means building fair and equal systems of rights and opportunity, and leaving no one behind.
At 62 Y, Danny has already marked his diary and won’t book anything else. In 2030, we all have a date at Bangkok WorldPride, where we'll welcome people from around the world who share one goal: diversity that leads to equal rights and opportunity.
📣 It's the final stretch before the Bid Book presentation on 30 October in Phuket. Go home and mark your diary!
