Meet Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, a biomedical engineering researcher who spent more than 17 years working on brain-computer interfaces and now leads the country’s human capital agenda.

For him, equality is not a cost to society but the highest-return investment a country can make. Today’s innovation is built around the average of only half of humanity — the other half is the room inclusive innovation has yet to fill, and a country can only truly raise productivity when everyone can work to their full potential.
