100 Voices Road To Bangkok WorldPride 2030

“We care about drag not only because we love it. We have begun asking how the people who love it as much as we do can actually sustain a life through drag.” 🌈✨
Meet Phatthara Lertsukittipongsa, Creative Director of Drag Bangkok, who went from fan and ally of the drag community to a driving force behind Drag Bangkok Festival, one of Asia’s largest gatherings of drag artists.
For Phatthara, drag’s growth cannot be measured by a handful of famous names. It depends on whether the wider community has the income, space, and opportunities to grow sustainably—and on whether everyone can express themselves with joy and safety.
Hosting WorldPride 2030 is not about copying the world, but about showing the world Thailand’s own roots—from show performers and cabaret to likay and molam—as part of the 100 Voices Road To Bangkok WorldPride 2030 project.
