Iranians rally at their embassy in Thailand to call for an end to the war in the Middle East
A group of Iranians living in Thailand rallied in front of their embassy in Bangkok today, to call for an end to the hostilities, which have led to significant loss of life and suffering.
Since the US-Israeli attack on Iran’s leadership on February 28th, they said that they have been deeply saddened by the situation and are very concerned about the safety of their relatives back home, many of whom have been struggling without even basic services, such as electricity, for more than 20 days.
The group expressed their loyalty to Iran and carried posters featuring the names and images of the Iranian leaders killed by the US and Israel.
About 100 police officers were deployed to the embassy during the brief demonstration, which remained peaceful.
