Former Democrat party deputy leader jailed for three years for sex offences
Today, the Appeals Court overturned the Criminal Court’s acquittal of former deputy leader of the Democrat Party Prinn Panitchpakdi on sexual harassment and assault charges and sentenced him to three years in prison without suspension.
The case dates back to April 25, 2018, when Prinn was accused by an underage girl of sexually assaulting her in public. The Appeals Court found the defendant guilty as charged and sentenced him to one year in prison for committing an indecent act and two years for depriving a minor of her parents.
Prinn is currently serving jail terms for three sex crimes. Five similar cases are sub judice.
