NBA/國王新秀小心了！嘴綠當面警告：小心隊友密謀對付你
金州勇士老將「嘴綠」格林（Draymond Green）日前在球隊以111：106擊敗沙加緬度國王的比賽中，場邊主動向國王新秀艾卡夫（Darius Acuff Jr.）傳授經驗。
格林在節目中透露，當時注意到艾卡夫曾在一次進攻中幾乎全程掌握球權，直到進攻時間所剩不多才切入製造犯規，因此提醒他別過度持球，應適時讓隊友參與進攻。格林也直言，若長期忽略隊友，可能引發休息室的不滿，甚至有人私下抱怨或暗中與他對立。
Draymond Green on what he told Darius Acuff Jr. during Saturday's Warriors vs. Kings preseason game, via @DraymondShow: "I saw something in that game that he had the ball the entire possession… my advice to him was just, 'Hey man, you remember that possession? … who else touched the ball that possession?', he's like 'nobody' and I was like 'don't have many of those' because you can end up having a bunch of those with the Sacramento Kings this year and a few things can happen, you can get guys start plotting against you, guys that don't really wanna see you do well, guys that start bickering on the side to other guys… you can get guys that get upset like 'aahh man they wanna give this rookie this, they wanna do that, f*ck that!'… and so for me when I saw that, I just wanted to give him a little game about that."

格林進一步指出，當菜鳥球員獲得大量進攻機會，甚至成為球隊的核心時，部分資深球員難免心生不滿，認為球隊過度偏袒新人。他希望透過自身在NBA累積的經驗，讓艾卡夫提早理解球隊內部的人際關係與潛在問題。儘管國王最終吞下敗仗，艾卡夫當天仍有出色表現，出賽27分鐘，15投8中、三分球6投4中，攻下25分、8助攻及4籃板，展現不俗的進攻實力。
現年36歲的格林也分享，自己菜鳥時期曾受到勇士前助理教練邁爾斯（Pete Meyers）啟發，對方曾告訴他，球員有責任讓籃球運動在自己離開時變得更好。格林認為，這不只是場上表現的要求，更代表將經驗傳承給年輕世代。由於他與艾卡夫同樣來自密西根州，且都曾是底特律青年籃球隊「The Family」的成員，格林也特別看好這名後輩的發展，希望透過分享經驗，幫助他在NBA走得更長遠。
