（圖／翻攝自IG @schaft21th）許多喜愛鳥類飼養者，會以小巧可愛的虎皮鸚鵡當作入坑選擇，牠們有著各式不同的夢幻羽色，包括粉黃、粉紅、淺紫或淺藍都有，日本大阪這隻名叫Sora的冰藍色虎皮鸚鵡，兩頰還有像似淚滴狀的腮紅，再配上淺黃綠色的小嘴，就像童話中的小鳥般非常可愛。

平均壽命只有10年的虎皮鸚鵡，是日本大熱的雀鳥品種之一，跟上次介紹過的蜜桃色「柏克氏鸚鵡」一樣，都屬於體形較小的品種，毛色多且漂亮，體重約30公克，連同尾巴約有18公分長，翅膀展開後約30公分；由於原生種的虎皮鸚鵡黃綠色的頭部與背部遍佈了黑色橫紋，就像虎紋般，也因此而得名。虎皮鸚鵡非常聰明，經過適當的訓練就能模仿人說話，非常深得人的歡心，牠們是一種善於交際的鳥類，可以單獨生活，更喜歡與同類為伴。

以家中老大Sora為主的IG@schaft21th擁有8,000多名粉絲，牠也是家中唯一一隻擁有藍色羽毛的鸚鵡，底下還有五歲的Miru、三歲的Tukusi與一歲的Hinata，牠們的感情非常好，常常會聚在一起玩耍，四隻兄弟姐妹的外型各有特色，其中Sora與同是虎皮鸚鵡的Miru感情最好，常常能見到牠們頭靠在一起相依偎。
