❗️Russia has built a new droneport called “Millerovo” in one month for launching Geran-5 drones: on September 1 the site was a bare field, but the first phase is now nearly complete — 8 positions for launchers and 32 sites for preparing UAVs have been prepared, and satellite images already show drones being unloaded. The project was accelerated after the September strikes on Kyiv, and the construction style is very similar to the Tsymbulova droneport.

⚠️ 🇷🇺 Russia rapidly builds new drone launch complex near Millerovo, with eight launch positions and 32 UAV preparation sites identified Satellite imagery analyzed by the OSINT project Absolutely Reliable Source indicates that Russia has developed a new large-scale attack-drone facility near Millerovo in Rostov Oblast, transforming what was an empty field on September 1 into an extensive launch complex in approximately six weeks. The first section of the installation is reportedly approaching completion, with eight prepared launch positions and 32 separate areas for assembling, servicing or preparing unmanned aircraft before takeoff. Imagery dated October 12 also appears to show drones being unloaded in one section of the site, suggesting that equipment deliveries may already be underway while construction continues. Analysts assess that the facility is intended to support Russia's newer Geran-5 jet-powered attack drones. Its layout closely resembles the Tsymbulova drone complex in Oryol Oblast, where satellite investigations have previously documented expanded launch infrastructure, storage facilities and preparations for larger Geran variants. The development comes as Russia expands its network of dedicated drone-launch bases to support complex and sustained aerial attacks against Ukraine. The newer jet-powered Geran variants offer higher speeds and heavier payloads than earlier propeller-driven models, increasing the demands placed on Ukrainian air defenses. The speed of construction is impressive. In little more than a month, Russia appears to have established much of the infrastructure required for another drone-launch facility.
