2024 大都會藝術博物館（The Metropolitan Museum of Art，簡稱 Met）的服裝學院展覽——《睡美人：時尚甦醒》（Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion）——將 250 件歷史悠久的服裝重新展示在一個受溫度控制的聚光燈下，有的服裝因年久而太過脆弱，再也不能穿了，只能靜靜於此開放大眾觀賞。昨晚，在一年一度 Met Gala 晚宴上，數百位全球最耀眼的時尚人物匯集於此，有些人的造型過於華麗莊重（甚至不能走動），因此在活動結束後的 After Party，明星往往會穿的更符合自己性格，往往也更性感。
例如 Kendall Jenner 在 Met Gala 紅毯上選用一件「從未被真人穿過」的 Givenchy 1999 年禮服登場，這套是當年由已故設計師 Alexander McQueen 所設計，但在 After Party 上，她很快就換上了 Andreas Kronthaler 為 Vivienne Westwood 設計的蕾絲緊身小洋裝，以及另一套來自 Givenchy 1997 年 Alexander McQueen 設計的「天使洋裝」，引發熱議：派對服穿的比紅毯好看太多。

另一位引人矚目的就屬 Emily Ratajkowski，她在紅毯上選用 2001 秋冬 Atelier Versace 的訂製服，幾小時後在派對上，換上一件幾乎全透膚的洋裝，這同樣是出自 McQueen 在 Givenchy 任職期間所設計的。
