英國禁止瑞典學者入境，原定與「巴勒斯坦行動」創辦人同台

馬爾姆是瑞典隆德大學（Lund University）學者，長期直言批評以色列，並強烈支持巴勒斯坦運動。Malm, an academic at Sweden's Lund University, has been a vocal critic of Israel and expressed strong support for the Palestinian movement.

英國內政部表示，不評論個案。Britain's Home Office (interior ministry) said it did not comment on individual cases.

馬爾姆告訴BBC第四廣播電台（Radio 4），他收到英國內政部訊息，稱他的「在英國出現不利於公共利益」，但未進一步說明。Malm told the BBC's Radio 4 he had received a message from the Home Office saying his "presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good" with no further clarification.

馬爾姆說：「多年來、幾十年來，我一直往返英國，從事我的科學工作、檔案研究、參與會議。這次我前往英國的主要目的也是如此。」"I've been going back and forth to the UK for years, for decades, to do my scientific work, my archival research, my participation in conferences. This is the main purpose of my visit to the UK this time too," Malm said.

BBC問及這項禁令是否可能與他過去把哈瑪斯10月7日攻擊以色列稱為「解放行動」的言論有關，馬爾姆說：「可能是。」Asked by the BBC whether the ban could be linked to previous comments he made calling Hamas's October 7 attack on Israel "an act of liberation", Malm said "it could be".

馬爾姆最知名的著作是《如何炸毀一條管線》（How to Blow Up a Pipeline），書中主張必須採取激進行動，才能阻止化石燃料開採。Malm is most known for his book "How to Blow Up a Pipeline", which argues radical action is necessary to stop fossil fuel extraction.

英國最高法院下週將審理一項上訴案，內容涉及依恐怖主義法律取締「巴勒斯坦行動」；這項取締已使表達支持該團體成為刑事犯罪。Britain's Supreme Court is due to hear an appeal next week on the proscription of Palestine Action under terrorism laws, which has made expressing support for the group a criminal offence.

10月稍早，愛爾蘭小說家莎莉・魯尼（Sally Rooney）表示，由於她計畫使用版稅支持「巴勒斯坦行動」，她的書將不再於英國販售。Earlier in October, Irish novelist Sally Rooney said her books will no longer be sold in Britain over her plans to use her royalties to support Palestine Action.

今年6月，英國阻止土耳其裔美國左翼媒體人物琴克・維吾爾（Cenk Uygur）及其姪子哈桑・派克（Hasan Piker）入境演講。In June, Britain blocked left-wing Turkish-American media personality Cenk Uygur and his nephew Hasan Piker from entering the country to speak at events.

英國也已對極右翼以色列部長實施旅行禁令，並禁止以色列人就讀倫敦一所知名國防研究學院。Britain has also imposed travel bans on far-right Israeli ministers and banned Israelis from attending a prestigious London defence studies college.
