同志酒吧遭臨檢後，台北市長現身同志遊行遭怒嗆

台北，10月31日（路透社）—— 正陷入激烈連任選戰的台北市長蔣萬安，週六短暫現身擠滿人潮的年度台灣同志遊行時，遭到憤怒抗議；本月稍早，警方曾臨檢台北市一家同志酒吧。TAIPEI, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an, in a close race for re-election, got an angry reception on Saturday when he briefly showed up for Taiwan's packed annual Pride parade, following a police raid on a city gay bar earlier this month.

這次臨檢觸動台灣敏感神經。台灣2019年成為亞洲第一個同性婚姻合法化的地方，並以自己在LGBTQ+權利常遭壓抑的區域中享有權利堡壘的聲譽為傲。The raid struck a nerve in Taiwan, which legalised same-sex marriage in 2019 in a first for Asia and is proud of its reputation as a bastion of LGBTQ+ rights in a region where they are often repressed.

超過17萬人參加週六的遊行，這是東亞規模最大的同志遊行活動。More than 170,000 people joined Saturday's parade, which is east Asia's largest Pride event.

蔣萬安來自在野的國民黨，先前曾表達對LGBTQ+社群的支持。他在遊行尾聲抵達現場，只停留約15分鐘。Chiang, from the opposition Kuomintang party and who has previously expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community, arrived at the end of the parade and stayed for only around 15 minutes.

現場有人高喊「不要臨檢同志酒吧」，也有人大聲聲援他的主要對手、執政民進黨的沈伯洋。He was met with shouts of "don't raid gay bars" and noisy calls of support for his main opponent, Puma Shen of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

蔣萬安告訴記者：「我剛剛也已經說過，對於造成受影響的人，我表達歉意。所以這件事情，我們會嚴謹調查，並且立即懲處。」"I already said this earlier: I apologise for the impact on those affected," Chiang told reporters. "So on this matter, we will conduct a rigorous investigation and impose immediate discipline."

隨後他離開時與少數支持者合照，身邊圍著記者與維安人員，抗議者則持續高喊口號。He then posed for pictures with a few supporters as he left, surrounded by reporters and security with protesters continuing to shout.

今年主題在臨檢後修訂THIS YEAR'S THEME REVISED AFTER RAID

30歲的張艾倫說，這樣的臨檢竟然會發生，「荒謬又難以置信」。Alan Chang, 30, said it was "ridiculous and unbelievable" that such a raid could have even happened.

他補充說：「這是一個強調性別平等的國家和城市，我們的市長會縱容這種事？」"This is a country and a city that emphasises gender equality and our mayor would condone this?" he added.

部分民調顯示領先蔣萬安的沈伯洋，則出現在集會的另一處，受到群眾熱烈歡迎。Shen, who some opinion polls have put ahead of Chiang, appeared at a different part of the rally where he was warmly greeted by the crowd.

副總統蕭美琴率領民進黨代表團參與同志遊行，總統賴清德則在臉書寫道，沒有人應該因為自己的身分而感到恐懼。Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim led the DPP's delegation to Pride, while President Lai Ching-te wrote on his Facebook page that nobody should feel fear because of who they are.

賴清德補充說：「這份尊重，也必須展現在每一次公權力的行使上。」"This respect must also be reflected in every exercise of public authority," Lai added.

同志遊行主辦單位在臨檢後修訂了今年的主題。Pride organisers revised this year's theme after the raid.

主辦單位本週在聲明中說，警方搜索「重新喚起長期遭受國家權力壓迫的性與性別多元社群的歷史創傷」。The police search "reawakened the historical trauma of sexually and gender-diverse communities long subjected to oppression by state authorities", they said in a statement this week.

台北警方本月臨檢位於市內主要同志聚集地西門的Commander D酒吧，帶回51人偵訊，並逮捕業者。Taipei police raided the Commander D bar in the city's main gay neighbourhood of Ximen this month and took 51 people in for questioning and arrested the owner.

警方指控其中一些人違反禁止「於公共場所或公眾得出入之場所，任意裸體或為放蕩姿勢」的法律後，他們遭拘留超過6小時。Some were detained for more than six hours after police accused them of violating a law that prohibits "wantonly exposing one's naked body or presenting a lascivious posture in a public place."
