傳 Pixel Pass 方案隨 Pixel 6 發布，延長保固同享一系列 Google 服務
YouTube 頻道「This is Tech Today」的主持人 M. Brandon Lee 日前在個人 Twitter 帳號揭露一系列圖文，都是關於 Pixel 6 系列價格、功能等細節，其中有名為「Pixel Pass」的新方案隨著 Pixel 6 系列同步發表。Pixel Pass 可望把 Pixel 手機延長保固與一系列 Google 服務結合，提供給未來購買 Pixel 6 系列新機的消費者加價訂閱。

Google 可能推出的 Pixel Pass 與蘋果既有方案有多處相似，似乎結合了 iPhone Upgrade Program 與 Apple One 的部分元素，不僅提供 Pixel 手機的延長保固，同時享有 YouTube Premium 或 YouTube Music 以及 Google One、Google Play Pass、Google Fi，涵蓋串流影音、雲端儲存、遊戲訂閱、電信網路等服務，但其中未包括雲端遊戲服務 Google Stadia。
與過往需要分別訂閱來相比，Pixel Pass 這樣的組合應會提供折扣優惠，以更實惠的價格享有更多服務。不過，目前還不清楚 Pixel Pass 方案的訂閱價格是多少，而從傳聞資訊來看，消費者將能透過 Google Fi、Google Store 來訂閱；與此同時，Pixel Pass 似乎先提供美國當地消費者，像在台灣方面是否會有相應方案，全都有待 Google 官方公布。
以蘋果為例，iPhone Upgrade Program 提供如美國當地消費者年年換 iPhone 新機的機會，方案加入 AppleCare+ 以延長保固期限，訂閱價格則是每月 35.33 美元起，折合台幣約 1,000 出頭，不同 iPhone 機型各有不同定價，比方說 1TB 頂規版本的 iPhone 13 Pro Max 就要月繳 74.91 美元。
而台灣消費者已能使用 Apple One 方案，一次訂閱享有 Apple Music、Apple TV+、Apple Arcade、iCloud 4 大服務，個人訂閱每月收費台幣 315 元，家庭訂閱則是每月收費台幣 395 元 。
Pixel Pass 會是 Google 與蘋果抗衡的新武器？值得後續觀察。
