央視報導：中國海警在台灣以東海域巡邏

北京，10月31日（路透社）— 中國國營電視台央視（CCTV）報導，中國海警週六在台灣島以東海域執行其所稱的例行執法巡邏。BEIJING, Oct 31 (Reuters) - China's coast guard carried out what it described as routine law enforcement patrols in waters east of Taiwan island on Saturday, state broadcaster CCTV reported.

• 中國海警發言人姜略表示，自10月初以來，海警持續加強對相關海域的管控，以保護包括台灣同胞在內的中國人民的合法權益與安全。• The coast guard has continued to strengthen control over the waters since the start of October to protect the lawful rights and safety of Chinese people, including Taiwan compatriots, its spokesperson Jiang Lue said

• 他並表示，海警將持續加強在其管轄海域的執法巡邏。• The coast guard will continue to step up law enforcement patrols in waters under its jurisdiction, he added

• 此類巡邏是6月以來台灣以東海域活動增加的一部分；中國將台灣視為自身領土。• Such patrols are part of an increase in activity since June in the waters east of Taiwan, which China views as its own territory

• 中國不承認台灣提出的任何主權主張，包括對台灣周邊海域的主張。• China recognises no claims of sovereignty by Taiwan, including over the seas around the island

• 台灣官員不接受北京的主權主張。他們表示，相信中國正運用相互重疊的軍事、準軍事與民用資產，演練未來可能實施的海上封鎖。• Officials in Taiwan, which rejects Beijing's sovereignty claims, say they believe China is practicing for a potential maritime blockade using overlapping military, paramilitary and civilian assets
