（圖／翻攝自IG＠ghasemmgloster、barrybirb）有著優雅迷人的啼叫聲，加上一身漂亮的金黃色羽毛，給人印象嬌貴的金絲雀向來受到不少養鳥人的喜愛，不過金絲雀當中有種在野外看不到、被人工培育出來，作為觀賞用的「Crested Canaries 鳳頭金絲雀」，有如戴上「馬桶蓋」或「西瓜皮」般的髮片，有著與名稱不太相符的呆萌喜感，頭上彷彿硬放了一頂假髮，乍看與英國首相鮑里斯強森或演出周星馳電影《食神》而爆紅的八兩金，又或是韓劇《梨泰院CLASS》當中男主角朴敘俊的栗子頭有些相像。

從19世紀就開始被繁殖的鳳頭金絲雀，性格相當溫馴親人，對其他鳥類都很友善的牠們是天生的社交高手，與其他的鳥同伴一起生活都能和平相處、從不打架，只要飼主能保持環境的整潔、提供通風涼爽的足夠空間，在健康的狀況下大多能活到10-12歲。

過去IG上也曾有隻被陽光照在身上，而呈現出「彩虹光」被眾多網友注意到的鳳頭金絲雀Barry，同樣頂著一頭碗公般、幾乎快要看不到眼睛的瀏海，讓人看過一眼就很難忘。

只是很遺憾的，去年九月底Barry在睡夢中安然過世了，在短短的生命中除了陪伴主人、共度過幸福快樂的生活外，牠可愛又特別的外貌也治癒過不少網友的心。
