雖然都稱為溫泉，不過由於40萬年前的箱根地區火山就已開始在活動，地形也因此經過多次重組，因此形成了箱根特有高達20多種泉質、功效實在數不完的溫泉，包含有能夠改善神經痛與皮膚問題的「鹽化物泉」或是有美肌效果的「硫酸鹽泉」還有對神經痛非常有效果的「鹼性單純泉」等等，除了泉質各具特色之外，箱根的溫泉設施更是一應俱全，都能滿足不同泡湯族群的需求，有不需住宿也能當日往返的入浴溫泉，還有想要遠離他人目光打擾、就算身上有紋身也能入浴的包場溫泉，或是可以穿著泳衣入浴的溫泉與可以穿著一般服裝邊享受美景的足浴等等。

其中位於箱根的溫泉旅館「天翠茶寮」就有一座非常特別、結合咖啡廳與酒吧的「足湯BAR」，以款待文化為特色的天翠茶寮洋溢著現代感的日式風格，旅館的用料也非常考究，採用的家具是來自飛驒高山的木材，只有12間客房的旅館幾乎每間房間都備有私人風呂及無敵景觀，光是待在房中就能度過一個美好放鬆的假期。

天翠茶寮最特別的，就是大廳吧台前的足湯BAR，每一位前來住房的客人都可以坐在這裡邊泡足湯、邊享用迎賓飲料並一邊辦理住宿Check in，足浴咖啡廳酒吧「Maiyo」設於溫泉旅館的大廳當中，入住的房客可以在舖有棕色木地板、類似階梯的座位坐下來，將鞋子脫去後把雙腳浸入暖暖的溫泉中，再依個人喜好點選想喝的飲料，從現磨咖啡到清酒、香檳、雞尾酒或無酒精的飲料通通都有；倚著大理石吧台輕啜著飲料、一邊泡著溫暖的足湯再一面辦理住房登記，讓投宿的旅客一進門就能感受到遠離喧囂、溫泉度假的愜意魅力，並感受到旅館的款待之情。
