Thai Embassy verifies status of two Thais in Muan plane crash

The Thai Embassy in Seoul has reported that there are two Thai nationals among the 181 passengers aboard a Jeju airplane that crashed while landing at Muan Airport in South Korea this morning.

Initial reports indicate that 29 people have been confirmed dead.

Thai Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nikorndej Balankura stated that the embassy is coordinating with South Korean authorities to verify the status of the two Thai passengers.
