倫敦，9月16日（路透社）——英國媒體週三報導，9年前在倫敦一樁引發廣泛關注、至今仍成謎的事件中，涉嫌將一名女子推向迎面而來公車行進路線的「普特尼推人者」（Putney Pusher）男子，已被發現死亡。LONDON, Sept 16 (Reuters) - The man suspected of being the "Putney Pusher", who knocked a woman into the path of an oncoming bus in London nine years ago in a mystery incident which attracted huge publicity, has been found dead, British media reported on Wednesday.

報導稱，44歲的尼可拉斯・布蘭德拉姆（Nicholas Brandram）因涉嫌與這起2017年5月發生在普特尼橋（Putney Bridge）的事件有關，於6月以嚴重傷害他人身體罪嫌遭逮捕。Nicholas Brandram, 44, had been arrested in June on suspicion of grievous bodily harm over the event, which occurred on Putney Bridge in May 2017, the reports said.

閉路電視畫面拍下事發瞬間：一名男子沿橋慢跑時，無端將33歲的受害女子推倒在地。女子的頭部與上半身跌入一輛迎面而來公車的行進路線，所幸公車及時閃避。Closed-circuit TV footage had captured the moment a man jogging along the bridge inexplicably pushed the 33-year-old victim to the ground. Her head and upper body fell into the path of an oncoming bus which managed to swerve out of her way.

儘管事件引發媒體高度關注，當時仍未追查到嫌疑人，也未查出事發動機。Despite attracting huge media attention, a suspect was not traced at the time and no motive for what happened was found.

媒體報導稱，布蘭德拉姆是維多利亞女王（Queen Victoria）的後代；他也曾因涉嫌持有毒品遭逮捕，如今被發現陳屍於倫敦西區住處。Media reports said Brandram, a descendant of Queen Victoria who had also been arrested on suspicion of drug possession, had now been found dead at his home in west London.

倫敦警方在聲明中證實，週二在奇西克（Chiswick）一處地址發現一名男子失去反應。London police confirmed in a statement that a man had been found unresponsive at an address in Chiswick on Tuesday.

聲明表示：「遺憾的是，一名44歲男子在現場被宣告死亡。他的近親已獲通知。」聲明並稱：「目前他的死亡被視為意外，但據信並無可疑之處。」"Sadly, a 44-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed," the statement said. "At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious."

英國媒體稱，布蘭德拉姆是希臘與丹麥的凱瑟琳公主（Princess Katherine of Greece and Denmark）的孫子，曾在英國軍中服役，也曾在滙豐（HSBC）的私人銀行部門工作。British media said Brandram was a grandson of Princess Katherine of Greece and Denmark, served in the British military and had also worked at HSBC’s private banking branch.
