繼蘋果、三星後，傳 Google Pixel 新機也要引進 UWB 技術

最近在台灣上市的蘋果 AirTag 和三星 Galaxy SmartTag+ 藍牙追蹤配件，兩者都有一個同通點，就是支援 Ultra-wideband（UWB）超寬頻技術，當支援的手機在這些藍牙追蹤裝置附近，就可以知道他們的確切位置，而且準確度相當高。
 

網站 XDA-Developers 的總編輯 Mishaal Rahman 日前在推特上爆料，表示由可靠的線人口中得知，Google 正在利用搭載 GS101 處理器的 Raven 去測試 UWB API 於 Android 12 的支援程度。上面的爆料中 GS101 是 Google 自家處理器，而 Raven 則有可能是之後 Pixel 手機的代號。也就是說，Pixel 之後的型號或許有可能會加入 UWB 功能。
不過，他也指出他並無法確認是否下一代 Pixel 手機就會支援 UWB，或是 Google 正在開發支援 UWB 的追蹤配件；甚至 Raven 是不是代表 Pixel 6 或 Pixel 6 XL 都不確定。Google I/O 將會在 5 月 18 至 20 日舉行，或者到時會有更多消息公佈。

I don't have any more details to share, such as confirmation that a next-gen Pixel will indeed support UWB, if Google is working on any UWB/BT trackers, whether "raven" is the Pixel 6 or 6 XL, etc.
