法國巴黎銀行雖與 Google 達成協議，仍不將敏感資料放上公有雲

路透 9 月 24 日電——法國巴黎銀行（BNP Paribas）週四表示，即使已與 Google 簽署為期 5 年的雲端與 AI 合作協議，該法國銀行仍會讓部分敏感客戶資料與關鍵營運避開公有雲基礎架構。Sept 24 (Reuters) - BNP Paribas will keep some sensitive customer data and critical operations off public cloud infrastructure even after signing a five-year cloud and AI partnership with Google, the French bank said on Thursday.

這項協議讓法國巴黎銀行可使用 Google 公有雲基礎架構與 Gemini 模型；該行正開發供內部工作使用的 AI 代理，應用範圍包括企業信用備忘錄、銷售、交易、研究與結構化業務。The agreement gives BNP access to Google public-cloud infrastructure and Gemini models as the bank develops AI agents for internal work including corporate credit memos, sales, trading, research and structuring.

不過，法國巴黎銀行集團資訊長馬克・卡繆（Marc Camus）在電話會議中告訴記者，這項協議並不代表全面轉移。But the deal does not mark a wholesale move, BNP Group Chief Information Officer Marc Camus told reporters in a call.

他說：「我們與 Google 簽署這項協議，並不表示我們會捨棄自有機房基礎架構。」"The fact that we signed this agreement with Google doesn't mean that we will get rid of our on-premise infrastructure," he said.

他表示，該行保險業務持有的醫療資訊，就是法國巴黎銀行避免採用公有雲解決方案處理的高度機密資料例子。Medical information held by its insurance operations was an example of highly confidential data for which BNP avoids public-cloud solutions, he said.

法國巴黎銀行計畫繼續使用開放原始碼模型，並維持與法國 AI 公司 Mistral 的合作關係；不同供應商將用於不同應用。BNP plans to keep using open-source models and to maintain its partnership with French AI company Mistral, with the providers used for different applications.
