The combined armed forces of Japan, the Philippines and the United States conducted a Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity (MMCA) within the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone. This activity demonstrated a collective commitment to strengthening regional and international cooperation in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.

As the second MMCA of 2026, this event continues to build upon previous exercises and ongoing operations. These efforts strengthen the interoperability of our armed forces and their respective military doctrines, tactics, techniques, and procedures.

This MMCA focused on key maritime skills, including replenishment-at-sea, deck landing qualifications, and communication drills. In addition to the maritime exercises, U.S. and Philippine forces conducted subject matter expert exchanges ashore in Subic, covering visual information, air, and seamanship training to hone their capabilities.

U.S. 7th Fleet, the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

美國第7艦隊為美國海軍規模最大的前進部署編號艦隊，持續與盟友及夥伴進行例行的互動與行動，以維護自由開放印太地區。
