知名饒舌歌手Mac Miller猝逝 得年26歲
匹茲堡饒舌奇才Mac Miller於美國時間九月七日下午在自家疑似藥物過量猝逝，得年26歲。他的家人透過媒體訴說他們的心情：「對他的家庭、朋友與歌迷來說，他是這世上一道耀眼的光芒，感謝大家為他的祈禱。」並表示目前仍須隱私處理相關事宜，事件細節目前無可奉告。
本名Malcolm James McCormick的Mac Miller從14歲起便踏入饒舌音樂場景，並以2010年的mixtape《K.I.D.S》開始嶄露頭角。隔年他更發行了首張正式專輯《Blue Slide Park》，以獨立饒舌音樂人之姿闖入告示牌排行榜，成績斐然。而他的音樂主題，從早年的縱情享樂到了近年如專輯《Watching Movies with the Sound Off》的自省和《The Divine Feminine》對女性的讚頌，也反映出他的日益成熟。
Mac Miller曾多次於專訪中提及自己的成癮問題，也透過歌曲自我剖析反省。而他和小天后亞莉安娜Ariana Grande維持兩年的戀情，據悉也是因此在今年告終。當時在社群媒體宣告和平分手消息的亞莉安娜，因為受到歌迷抨擊，進一步解釋他多次嘗試協助Mac Miller走出成癮問題未果，才需要結束這段關係。而Mac Miller隨後驚傳酒後駕車被捕事件，更讓問題浮上檯面。
Mac Miller逝世消息傳出，Chance The Rapper、Missy Elliott和Jaden Smith等多位音樂人紛紛表達哀悼之意。Post Malone更表示：「你的音樂啟發了我，沒有你，我不會有今天的成就。」
