NBA》又是菜鳥大顯身手！Queen超狂表現成年度新人王熱門人選？
即便目前名列西區倒數第2位的鵜鶘，尚未能達到15勝門檻，但菜鳥Derik Queen的出色表現，令人印象深刻，甚至被國外媒體視為年度新人王獎項的熱門候選人之一。

鵜鶘31日於主場迎戰灰熊時，靠著先發五虎中3人得分20+的猛烈攻勢主導戰局，其中，出賽時間並列全場最高的Queen，最終繳出22分、9籃板、7助攻、2阻攻的全方位成績單，在鵜鶘奪下近4戰第3勝的過程中，扮演舉足輕重角色。

值得一提的是，Queen只花了49場比賽，就達成生涯「600分350籃板200助攻」里程碑，而自從NBA與ABA合併後至今，史上只另外兩位在50場比賽內達到此紀錄的菜鳥球員，分別是「大鳥」Larry Bird與Ben Simmons，而他們也都在菜鳥賽季奪下年度新人王殊榮。

雖然Queen被定位為中鋒，但他的籃板與助攻數，皆高居所有菜鳥之冠。另外，Queen也成為近50年來，最快達到200助攻里程碑的中鋒球員。
