哈薩克12名軍人在演習期間被沖入海中後喪生

阿拉木圖，9月24日（路透社）——當局週四表示，哈薩克12名軍人在一場海軍訓練演習期間被捲入海中後死亡。ALMATY, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Twelve Kazakh military personnel died after being swept out to sea during a naval training exercise, authorities said on Thursday.

地方政府在Telegram表示，這些軍人在西部曼吉斯套州參加戰鬥演練時，天氣狀況突然惡化，風勢也轉強。They were taking part in a combat drill in the western Mangistau region when weather conditions suddenly deteriorated and winds strengthened, the regional government said on Telegram.

地方政府說，共有17人被捲走。地方政府並補充：「其中12人死亡，3人獲救。其餘2名軍人的搜救行動仍在持續。」In all, 17 people were swept away, it said. "Twelve of them died, and three were rescued. The search for the remaining two servicemen is continuing," it added.

事發後，哈薩克總統卡瑟姆若馬爾特・托卡葉夫宣布週五為全國哀悼日。President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared a nationwide day of mourning for Friday following the incident.
