受VIRGIL ABLOH免費指導？啟動「FREE GAME」計劃

VIRGIL ABLOH作為LOUIS VUITTON男裝創意總監，同時又是OFF-WHITE™主理人，近年他在時裝、設計領域，不斷擴散他的影響力。日前，VIRGIL ABLOH啟動最新指導計劃「FREE GAME」，他希望看見設計、藝術和文化等領域，對年輕黑人設計師以及來自非傳統背景的設計師更具包容性，同時協助他們在創意和品牌道路上前進。

“FREE GAME”… my mass but personal mentorship concept is now live. the number 1 question i often get asked is, how did i start my career? it’s a real question that is my responsibility to answer because that’s information and resources i had yearned for as a kid every time. information is for the young. the youth will always win.⁣ ⁣ i was raised on BET Rap City, the basement freestyles, Source and Stress Magazine. Like Lil Wayne or Cam’ron saying “F Mike, till I had seen him, i hadn’t seen Thriller”🤯✨. i didn’t need a Magritte painting to understand surrealism. the color of my skin puts conceptual art in my blood. Arthur Jafa, Mafuz and are dropping a Zoom on that later, but even with the degrees that i obtained, what was most defining for my education that and those videos up there. that inspired this new education series i just launched called “FREE GAME”. ⁣ when i see the disparities in education provided to black people and people of color entering into creative disciplines, it strengthens my position that this is one of the front lines that needs immediate change. using my career as the first roadmap, you’ll find “FREE GAME” on my website. ⁣ ⁣ sorry but, big questions require long answers.⁣ ⁣ all @post_modern logic® ~ link in bio to find the whole project.

「FREE GAME」除了VIRGIL ABLOH的建議外，還有不同的藝術家與他的朋友向大家分享心得，該計劃還包括ONLINE講座和其他學習工具等，更是免費為所有人提供指導，並且將不斷更新內容。該計劃的精神與VIRGIL ABLOH「POSTMODERN」基金相同，該基金於今年所啟動，並與FASHION SCHOLARSHIP FUND合作，透過籌款和指導為黑人學生提供時尚教育。
