Election Day “War Room” to deliver realtime results from 400 Constituencies nationwide
The Digital Television Association, in collaboration with media networks and civil society partners, is set to launch an Election Day “War Room” to coordinate the reporting of Realtime election results from all 400 constituencies nationwide.
The War Room will be based at the Convention Hall, 2nd Floor, Building D, Thai PBS, serving as a central hub for transparent, accurate, and verifiable election reporting.
This initiative brings together a broad coalition, including the Digital Television Association, the Online News Producers Association, more than 25 media organizations, Thai PBS citizen journalists, and civil society and academic partners such as iLaw, Vote62, and the Faculty of Democracy and Citizenship Participation, Thammasat University. The collaboration aims to strengthen the accuracy, transparency, and credibility of election result reporting.
The War Room will function as a volunteer coordination center, connecting more than 10,000 volunteers nationwide who will report vote counts directly from polling stations. These data will be aggregated, verified, and processed through a central system, enabling continuous dissemination of Realtime election results throughout the counting process.
In addition, the War Room will be open to journalists from Thai media and international media organizations.
Reporters will be able to work on-site to monitor results from all 400 constituencies, exchange information, analyze developments, and report from a single centralized location, enhancing efficiency and providing a comprehensive national picture of the election.
The Election Day War Room will open operations in the afternoon of Election Day, February 8, and will remain active until unofficial election results are determined, ensuring timely, transparent, and reliable access to election data for both the media and the public.
