Two Chinese nationals among four held for alleged robbery of Chinese man in Pattaya

The victim was abducted, while he was waiting for an app-hailed taxi on Pattaya 3 Road, by four men who posing as police officers.
They forced him into a car and drove him to a shooting range, about 9km away, and robbed him of about 15,000 baht cash and two cell phones.
He was also forced to wire 200,000 baht from Chinese bank account into an account specified by one of the suspects.
After the incident, police checked CCTV footage from the crime scene and surrounding areas and traced the route of the car used by the suspects. They were ultimately able to arrest them today.
The car used in the abduction was found in the Min Buri district of Bangkok.
