PM submits list of new Cabinet lineup for King’s approval

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has submitted the final list of his chosen Cabinet ministers to His Majesty the King for Royal assent, after it had been screened by the Office of the Secretary-General of the Cabinet, to ensure that they all meet the required qualifications.

Before submitting the list for Royal approval, the prime minister paid homage to the deities at the City Pillar shrine and at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

He later told reporters that he is confident that his Cabinet ministers can start performing their jobs immediately and will address immediate problems, such as flooding.

He said he has no party of his own, but he has the support of several others.

The new Cabinet is comprised of 35 ministers. They are:

· Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

· Songsak Thongsri, deputy interior minister.

· Sasithorn Kittidhrakul, deputy interior minister

· Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, deputy prime minister and transport minister.

· Sophon Zaram, deputy prime minister.

· Sabeeda Thaised, culture minister.

· Chaichanok Chidchob, minister of digital economy and society.

· Surasak Phancharoenworakul, minister of higher education, science, research and innovations.

· Supamas Isarabhakdi, minister of prime minister’s office.

· Paradorn Prissananantakul, minister of prime minister’s office.

· Napintorn Srisunpang, deputy transport minister.

· Borwornsak Uwanno, deputy prime minister for legal affairs.

· Sihasak Phuangketkeow, foreign minister.

· Ekniti Nitithanprapas, deputy prime minister and finance minister.

· Atthapol Rerkpiboon, energy minister.

· Vorapak Tanyawong, deputy finance minister.

· Pol Lt-Gen Rutthapon Naowarat, justice minister.

· Suphajee Suthumpun, commerce minister.

· Gen Nattaphon Nakpanich, defence minister.

· Lt-Gen Adul Boonthamcharoen, deputy defence minister.

· Thammanat Prompao, deputy prime minister and agriculture minister.

· Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, minister of tourism and sports.

· Narumon Pinyosinwat, education minister.

· Akkara Prompao, minister of social development and human security.

· Nares Thumrongthipayakun, deputy agriculture minister.

· Amin Mayuso, deputy agriculture minister.

· Ong-art Wongprayoon, deputy education minister.

· Pattana Promphat, deputy prime minister and public health minister.

· Treenuch Thienthong, labour minister.

· Vorachote Sukhonkajorn, deputy public health minister.

· Santi Piyatat, deputy public health minister.

· Suchart Chomklin, deputy prime minister and minister of natural resources and environment.

· Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, industry minister.

· Yossing Liamlert, deputy industry minister.
