Other products originating in Thailand are, however, still allowed to enter Cambodia, but only through channels other than the currently closed land border crossing checkpoints.
Thailand has imposed strict border crossing restrictions at all permanent and temporary checkpoints with Cambodia since June 23rd, following a brief clash between Thai and Cambodian troops on May 28th, which left one Cambodian soldier dead.
Cambodian patients needing medical treatment and Cambodian students are being allowed in through the checkpoints, though.
Cambodia has, however, accused the Thai military of shutting down all the border checkpoints.
