DOD Reports a 97% Increase in 1Q21 Earnings as Sales Revenue Grow

DOD Biotech Public Company Limited (DOD) has announced its 1Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

DOD reported a net profit of 55.13 million baht in 1Q21, increased 97.20% compared to a net profit of 27.96 million baht in 1Q20. The increase was mainly due to the revenue from sale of 411.90 million baht, increased by 70.30 million baht or 20.58% YoY.

For the first quarter of 2021, DOD had gross profit by 192.91 million baht, which decreased by 8.54 million baht or 4.24%. Gross profit margin was 46.83%.

The company stated that the business of food supplements has continuous product development, including a variety of products that meet consumers and from a potential customer base. As a result, the revenue of the business of food supplements has continuous and steady growth.

However, the growth rate of the cosmetics business is declining due to the Covid-19 situation. As a result, the company's subsidiary is in the process of temporarily ceasing its operations.
