Local Institutions Withdraw ฿5.2Bn to Plunge SET Index by 6pts

- SET Index closed at 1,611.53 points, decreased 6.02 points or 0.37% with a trading value of 106 billion baht. The analyst stated that the Thai stock market moved in both positive and negative territory as investors were monitoring the upcoming announcement of the U.S. nonfarm payroll that could indicate the Fed’s policy scheduled to be held on 15-16 June.

As for domestic factors, the Thai stock market continued to receive positive sentiment on the vaccine rollout and alternation vaccine options, resulting in an increase in Domestic-Play stocks and those with reopening themes.

The analyst expected a support level for next week at 1,580 points and a resistance level at 1,630 points.
