Minimum wage in Bangkok and for hotel employees nationwide increased

The Wage Committee decided today to increase the daily minimum wage for employees in Bangkok to 400 baht, effective from July 1st.

Employees of hotels with more than 50 rooms, or two-star hotels and upward, with restaurants and other entertainment establishments in the rest of the country, will also have their minimum daily wage adjusted to 400 baht, effective as of July 1st.
