Police to arrest key figures in narcotics ring linked to TG cabin crew
Police claim to now know the identities of the key figures behind the narcotics trafficking network connected to the TG cabin crew member’s drug case in Australia and will soon make arrests, according to Pol Lt-Gen Archayon Kraithong, commissioner of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, today.
He declined, however, to disclose their identities or to provide any details about the real identity of ‘Rose Rose’, the account name of a person who wired money into the account of ‘Meena’, the arrested TG cabin crew member, or another mysterious character, known only as ‘Mr. Kong Y’.
He said, though, that once the police make the arrests, the media will be among the first to be informed.
Pol Lt-Gen Archayon chaired a meeting today with representatives of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board and the Metropolitan Police to discuss developments in the TG cabin crew case.
Three suspects are currently detained in Thailand for alleged involvement in the drug trafficking network. Two have been identified by the police as ‘Uthai’, the hooded man who delivered the drugs to Meena’s condominium in Bangkok’s Bang Na district, and ‘Nanthawat’, who disposed of a plastic bag containing drug-tainted elephant tote bags at the instruction of someone called ‘Arthit’.
