LISA, Anitta and Rema’s World Cup anthem 'Goals' hits 2m views in 24 hours
Thai K-pop megastar Lalisa ‘Lisa’ Manobal has joined forces with Brazilian Latin pop sensation Anitta and Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema in performing ‘Goals’, a marquee single from the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album.
The high-octane collaboration has flown up global charts, with its music video racking up over two million views within 24 hours of its release yesterday.
The track was produced by Grammy Award-winning Canadian producer ‘Cirkut’ (Henry Walter), who seamlessly blends K-pop hooks, Latin rhythms and heavy Afrobeats percussion to capture the diverse, unifying spirit of global football.
The trio is also locked in to deliver the debut live performance of ‘Goals’ at the star-studded World Cup opening ceremony at the Los Angeles Stadium in the United States on Friday, June 12.
Lisa, the Blackpink member and founder of management agency LLOUD, expressed enthusiasm over being part of the global sports tournament.
"Being part of the official World Cup album is incredibly exciting," Lisa said. "Music has this beautiful power to unite people from all corners of the world. Collaborating with such talented artists like Anitta and Rema has been an absolute honour."
Anitta shared a deeply personal connection to the project, noting that the tournament holds profound sentimental value for her.
"As a Brazilian, I grew up with unforgettable memories of the World Cup," Anitta said. "Making history and leaving our mark on this tournament, alongside Lisa and Rema, is beyond words. I am immensely grateful."
Representing the African continent, Rema hailed the collaboration as a milestone for cultural synergy on the world stage. "Bringing three continents together for one track, blending our unique sounds and identities, is a massive moment for global music," he stated.
‘Goals’ is the latest track to be unveiled from the highly anticipated official album, following previous singles ‘Lighter’, ‘Por Ella’, ‘Echo’ and ‘Illuminate’.
The full album aims to serve as a cultural bridge, fusing distinct musical genres with the competitive spirit of the tournament, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
