Stocks in Focus on June 22, 2021: MAKRO and KWM

Kaohoon Online has selected stocks with a high-growth potential for investors to consider on June 22, 2021.

Krungsri Securities (KSS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Siam Makro Public Company Limited (MAKRO) with a target price at ฿45.00/share.

KSS stated that Despite the third Covid-19 outbreak in Thailand that started in April, MAKRO’s SSSg remained in the positive zone in 2Q because of the low-base effect in April, albeit slowing in May-June. Coupled with recovering overseas sales and resilient TH SSSg, KSS expected MAKRO to report earnings growth for the rest of the year.

In addition, KSS added that the value of MAKRO is cheap, trading at 24x FY22F PE multiple (-1 SD of mean).

Maybank Kim Eng has given a “BUY” recommendation on K.W. Metal Work Public Company Limited (KWM) with a target price at ฿7.15/share.

Maybank expected a profit this year of 98 million baht, representing an increase of 126% YoY, to set a new record for two consecutive years on the back of higher sales and margin after adjusting production lines and launching new products. Moreover, the main customers with the very high tractor production have boosted their income. The hemp extract machine is expected to accelerate the profit in the next period.
