Thai rock prodigy Nene Royal advances to AGT live shows
Phuket-born rock prodigy Rattikarn Amloy, 16, known in the music world as “Nene Royal”, has advanced to the live shows of America’s Got Talent (AGT) 2026, following praise from music critics and international rock music fans, who have praised her for bringing renewed attention to rock music.
The AGT Auditions Facebook page posted an image of Nene Royal with the headline “AGT Live Acts Revealed” and the message: “NENE ROYAL is heading to the live shows!”
Nene performed “Hysteria”, a hit song by British rock band Muse, during the Judges’ Callbacks round before a live audience. Her performance drew enthusiastic applause and praise from viewers and music fans around the world.
An edited version of the performance was released by AGT on August 8, ahead of its scheduled television broadcast on August 11.
The full performance was subsequently broadcast as part of the Judges’ Callbacks round.
The performance has also attracted significant online attention, with Nene’s rendition of “Hysteria” surpassing one million views.
Nene previously impressed the AGT judges during the audition round with her performance of “Zombie” by The Cranberries, earning four yes votes and advancing to the Judges’ Callbacks.
