That’s why Night at the Museum has grown into one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year: museums opening after dark with special programs, immersive installations, and a little touch of magic.
Back again to thrill culture lovers across the country, the Night at the Museum Festival 2025 runs from 4–28 December 2025, with 53 museums and cultural landmarks nationwide joining the celebration.
From Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Korat, Phuket, and beyond — expect night markets, musical performances, stargazing nights, storytelling, and interactive showcases that make history feel anything but sleepy.
You can plan your schedule based on interests or by following a chosen route. For example, stargazers should not miss the Bangkok Planetarium. If opting for a route, note that Bangkok’s traffic can be challenging, so careful planning is advised. Public transportation is recommended.
Visitors can make the most of their evening by focusing on the Rattanakosin Island area, which includes attractions such as the Siam Museum, the National Museum, Bangkok City Library, and the Supreme Patriarch (Phra Thep Thitidet Mahathera) Residence Museum at Wat Suthat.
Alternatively, you can explore inner-city destinations around Siam Square, including the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre and several museums within Chulalongkorn University.
Remember to plan your visit in line with each museum’s opening hours. Though most places start the program at 4pm, closing hours may vary, ranging from 8pm, 9pm and 10pm. Checking with each place via its official social media account or website is highly recommended.
