Death toll from Rong Beer Na Ladprao fire rises to 37

Another victim of the Ladprao pub fire on the night of July 12 succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday night in the Rajavithi Hospital, according to the Erawan Centre.

The death of 25-year-old On-anong Sareesri, has brought the death toll in the ‘Rong Beer Na Ladprao’ blaze to 37.

Fifteen others injured in the fire are still in hospital, 10 of whom are still in intensive care, said the Erawan Centre.

Twenty-seven customers died on the night of the fire, mostly due to smoke inhalation inside the packed venue, and more than 70 were injured, among whom were a number who sustained serious burns, including the ten who have subsequently passed away.
