Missing Russian siblings’ motorcycle found buried in Chon Buri

Police have found the disassembled motorcycle of two missing Russian siblings half-buried in waste land, about 200 metres from the Na Chom Thien-Map Ta Put motorway in Bang Lamung district of Chon Buri province.

Chon Buri police say, however, that they still have not found any trace of the missing siblings and that a massive search is ongoing.

Chakkrit Boonmark, an assistant to the sub-district chief officer, informed the police that he was told that four men were seen at about 10pm last night at the scene where the disassembled motorcycle was found, but that he was too afraid to approach them.

He also said that he then gathered a group of men and went to the scene to investigate, only to discover that the four strangers had disappeared, leaving behind a half-buried a black and grey Honda motorcycle, which had been rented by the siblings.

The two Russians, 22-year-old Diana Nazimova and her younger brother, 17-year-old Roman, were reported missing on Sunday.

Police combed the area surrounding the scene where the motorcycle was found for clues and are preparing divers to search a pond in the area.

A police officer said that one of the two siblings texted their mother before their disappearance, saying that they thought that they may be being followed by some unknown people.
