ประหารแล้ว “มือมีดชาวจีน” - วันที่ 22 เม.ย. เกียวโดนิวส์ และ สเตรตส์ไทมส์ รายงานจากแหล่งข่าวทางการทูตว่านายจง ฉางชุน ผู้ต้องโทษชาวจีนซึ่งถูกตัดสินว่ามีความผิดใน คดีแทงเด็กนักเรียนชาวญี่ปุ่นวัย 10 ขวบจนเสียชีวิตระหว่างเดินไปโรงเรียนในเมืองเซินเจิ้น มณฑลกวางตุ้ง ทางตอนใต้ของ ประเทศจีน เมื่อเดือนก.ย.2567 ถูกประหารชีวิตแล้ว

รายงานระบุด้วยว่านายจงซึ่งไม่ได้อุทธรณ์โทษตามคำพิพากษาเมื่อเดือนม.ค.ที่ผ่านมา กล่าวหวังว่าจะได้พูดคุยกับครอบครัวของเด็กชายซึ่งเป็นลูกครึ่งญี่ปุ่น-จีน และว่าไม่ได้พุ่งเป้าทำร้ายพลเมืองญี่ปุ่นโดยเฉพาะ
ทั้งนี้ เหตุสลดดังกล่าวเกิดขึ้นในวาระครบรอบ 93 ปีที่ญี่ปุ่นทิ้งระเบิดรางรถไฟใกล้เมืองเสิ่นหยาง มณฑลเหลียวหนิง ซึ่งถือเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของเหตุการณ์การรุกรานแมนจูเรียของญี่ปุ่น ในเหตุการณ์สงครามจีน-ญี่ปุ่นครั้งที่ 2 เมื่อปี 2474
ขณะเดียวกันเมื่อสัปดาห์ก่อนเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นเปิดเผยว่าชายชาวจีนที่ถูกตัดสินว่ามีความผิดฐานฆ่าหญิงชาวจีนและทำร้ายพลเมืองชาวญี่ปุ่น 2 คนด้วยการใช้มีดโจมตีที่ป้ายรถประจำทางด้านนอกโรงเรียนของญี่ปุ่นในเมืองซูโจวใกล้กับนครเซี่ยงไฮ้เมื่อเดือนมิ.ย.2567 ถูกประหารชีวิตแล้วเช่นกัน
