Bhumjaithai Party leader Anutin Charnvirakul claimed today that the party is now ready to stage a political comeback, serve the people, and lead the country to prosperity under its new slogan, “Say and Do Plus.”

He made the announcement while addressing the party’s 500 constituency and party-list candidates, along with Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas, and Commerce Minister Suphajee Suthumpun.

Anutin, also the prime minister, said that these three ministers would continue to serve in their current posts if Bhumjaithai becomes the core party in forming the new government after the February 8 general election.

Admitting that he had previously been worried, he said today that his concerns have turned into confidence, adding that the forthcoming election is extremely important for the party because the public has high expectations.

Having faced challenges over the past several months, he said the party has gained extensive experience, from dealing with natural disasters and epidemics to addressing national security threats.

After three general elections, he claimed, the party has grown stronger and now feels in top form, ready to serve the people again.

Noting that Thailand currently faces economic, social, natural, and security challenges, Anutin urged the public not to be overly concerned about security threats and to have confidence in his government’s capabilities.

He highlighted the government’s efforts to crack down on transnational cybercrime and manage security threats from a neighbouring country.

He also announced the party’s plan to end mandatory military conscription, replacing it with well-paid voluntary recruitment, offering around 12,000 baht per month for those who join.
