Police named the campaign, which began on March 21st, “Operation Endgame: Bullet Express”. Raids were carried out on several locations in Bangkok and the provinces.
One of the suspects, identified as “Ritchai”, held a legitimate license to own and carry firearms. He allegedly acted as both buyer and distributor of the weapons.
Ritchai purchased firearms and resold them online. He then shipped them to clients via private courier services, in an attempt to avoid police detection.
The confiscated items include six semi-automatic pistols, five single-barrel shotguns, five single-barrel .22 calibre rifles, one revolver, one homemade gun, and 31,538 rounds of ammunition.
