Bangkok Community Help Foundation Distributes Free N95 Masks in Asoke-Sukhumvit Area Amid Unhealthy Air Quality
Bangkok Community Help Foundation has mobilized in the Asoke-Sukhumvit area as air quality in the capital continues to deteriorate due to elevated PM2.5 microdust levels.
Volunteers were deployed across high-traffic zones to distribute free N95 masks to vulnerable groups, including street vendors, motorcycle riders, delivery workers, and pedestrians who face prolonged exposure to hazardous air conditions.
The initiative comes as public health concerns grow over the long-term impact of air pollution, which poses increased risks to respiratory and cardiovascular health, particularly among children, the elderly, and individuals with pre-existing medical conditions.
Foundation representatives said the outreach effort aims to provide immediate protection while raising awareness about the ongoing air pollution situation affecting Bangkok and nearby metropolitan areas.
