BDMS’ 2020 Profit Drops 53% from Lower Int’l Patients, Offering a Dividend of Bt0.55

Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BDMS) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2020 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

BDMS reported a net profit of 7,214 million baht in 2020, decreased 53.51% from a net profit of 15,517 million baht in 2019. The decrease was mainly due to its lower income for the year at 69,057 million baht, representing a decrease of 18% YoY from a decline in hospital operations affected by Covid-19 outbreak that plummeted international patients significantly throughout the year.

In addition, the Board of Directors of BDMS approved a dividend payment of ฿0.55/share to be paid on April 23, 2021. The ex-dividend date is March 10, 2021.
