WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- China's Li Fanghui won the women's halfpipe title at the FIS Freeski Halfpipe World Cup in Aspen, the United States on Saturday.

Each athlete had two runs in the final, with the better score counting toward the final standings. Li secured victory with a score of 93 points from her first run. Britain's Zoe Atkin followed closely with 92.75 points, while another Chinese skier, Zhang Kexin, finished third with 88.75 points.

"I'm so proud of myself that I can do the whole run so good. That run was the best run in my life," Li said.

The Aspen stop marked her first appearance on the podium this season after winning the overall title last season.

With the conclusion of the Aspen event, all FIS Freeski Halfpipe World Cup competitions ahead of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics have been completed. The Olympic qualification ranking points for the discipline will be finalized on Jan. 18. Enditem
