The festive season at Sabatini

As Christmas approaches, Sabatini Ristorante Italiano at The Royal Garden introduces a new festive hamper, a thoughtfully curated collection of house-made and Italian-sourced treats designed for gifting to family, friends or corporate partners.

The hamper brings together a selection of Sabatini signatures. At its heart is a classic panettone (750g), created in collaboration by executive chef Claudio Favero and Fine Foods Shop executive pastry chef Don Ng. Light, softly textured and scented with cream and lemon, it is studded with dried fruit and citrus peel, staying true to the Italian tradition of festive sharing.

Also included is a 15-year-old balsamic vinegar (250ml), made from Trebbiano, Lambrusco, Spergola and Berzemino grapes, slowly cooked and naturally fermented before ageing in wooden barrels. Rich and complex, it pairs particularly well with Parmesan, strawberries and roasted meats. A Sicilian extra virgin olive oil (500ml), cold-extracted from fresh olives, offers a clean, gently fruity finish, suited to salads, bread and cheese.

Sweet notes come in the form of a 16-piece Italian chocolate selection: milk chocolate, white chocolate with pistachio paste, and milk chocolate with hazelnut, alongside black truffle butterfly cookies (90g), made with Umbrian truffle paste and balanced with a subtle caramel sweetness. A bottle of white peach bergamot Earl Grey sparkling tea (375ml), blending French white peach purée with citrusy bergamot, adds a refreshing counterpoint, while The Royal Garden’s festive Chef Yummy teddy bear completes the hamper with a playful touch.

The Christmas hamper is priced at HK$3,088, with the classic panettone also available for individual purchase at HK$498. Both are available from December 1 to 30.

In addition, Sabatini will offer a festive holiday brunch buffet on December 25 and 26, as well as January 1. The spread features a wide selection of antipasti, fresh seafood, Sabatini caviar, live cooking stations, pasta and risotto, main courses, fine cheeses and a generous dessert table, bringing a sense of Italian abundance to the season.
