Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2026 Show Takes Macau by Storm

Tatler Hong Kong

The Louis Vuitton 2026 cruise show experience began long before the first model took her stride. Selected guests were whisked away from Hong Kong in a fleet of private vehicles, cocooned in leather-clad luxury as they made their way across the border to Macau. It was the opening act of an evening designed to remind us why Louis Vuitton remains one of fashion’s most ambitious storytellers.

Upon arrival at The Londoner, VIPs were ushered into an elegant cocktail area—among them were singer, dancer and Louis Vuitton ambassador Victoria Song, the incomparable Carina Lau and actors Louise Wong and Yuxiao Lu.

As guests settled into their seats, the lights dimmed and a hush fell over the crowd. Models descended from the very top of The Londoner Arena, making their way down the arena steps onto the runway—their entrance as dramatic as it was unexpected, recreating the magic of the brand’s original presentation in May at the Palais des Papes in the French city of Avignon.

Nicolas Ghesquière’s vision came alive before our eyes. From everyday staples that had been reimagined to showstopping evening pieces, each look demonstrated clothing’s transformative power. As Macau’s first-ever Louis Vuitton show, the evening marked a real moment for the region—even more special was the fact that Macau had a selection of exclusive pieces from the catwalk collection available for guests to see after the show. What’s more, the Louis Vuitton store at Sands in Macau is the best-performing in Asia and on track to become the best-performing globally. This was a fitting tribute to a city that has embraced the maison with such passion and continues to set the bar for luxury retail worldwide.
