60 years of friendship starts with one song: U.S. opera star sings at 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival

Bond with Kuliang: 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival is being held from July 10 to 18 sequentially in Fuzhou and Beijing. Nearly 30 youth choirs from both countries, totaling over a thousand participants, are taking part in this large-scale cultural exchange event through music.

At the gala concert in Fuzhou, U.S. State Department Arts Envoy and opera singer Carla Canales once again took the stage with a Chinese artist to sing "I Love You, China." She also shared her heartfelt reflections on the song, her insights into musical exchange between Chinese and American youth, and her hopes for the young participants from the United State.■
