Rather than making America great again, the Trump administration's policies risk pushing the U.S. into recession and triggering a global downward spiral, warns Ian Goldin, professor of globalization and development at the University of Oxford.

"The soft power of the U.S., the U.S. influence and trust in the U.S. internationally, has been dramatically undermined," says Goldin, also former vice president of the World Bank.
