Traditional Taiwanese savoury and sweet rice pudding: HK$298 (new)A nostalgic savoury-sweet pudding inspired by Taiwanese home cooking. Minced pork and pan-fried onions are gently steamed into glutinous rice, creating depth and savouriness that sit comfortably against the rice’s natural sweetness.
Shang Palace red bean pudding with 30-year tangerine peel: HK$438A Lunar New Year classic, this pudding pairs velvety red beans with carefully aged 30-year tangerine peel. Slowly simmered, it delivers a mellow sweetness and a lingering citrus fragrance, underscoring the kitchen’s respect for time-honoured craft.

Shang Palace expands its Lunar New Year range with a series of puddings that explore flavour beyond the traditional. The pistachio pudding (HK$398) is gently nutty and softly set, while the custard pudding with salted egg yolk (HK$368) blends minced yolk with coconut milk, turning crisp and golden when pan-fried while retaining a pleasing chew.
